Bizom is built using open source tools. We primarily use PHP + MySQL on the server side and native Android on the client side. Multiple other technologies like Perl, Python, Java, PWA etc. are used where appropriate.
Bizom’s architecture is scalable by design. The response time of the system does not suffer during peak load and the capacity can be scaled both horizontally as well as vertically. We guarantee a response time of 1000ms at 90 percentile.
We have multiple application servers behind load-balancers for high availability. The database is replicated within the same datacenter as well as on a remote datacenter in another country to provide the highest possible level of data availability. All data is backed up periodically and copied to two different data centers in two different countries. This enables us to restore services in the case of a disaster within hours with negligible loss of data.
Bizom has had 100% uptime in the last twelve months. We guarantee 99% uptime and 24 hour disaster recovery backed by an SLA.

The Bizom mobile app is released to the Android PlayStore on a periodic basis and all users get upgraded depending on the settings on their handsets. If the customer wants the users to be on a specific version of the app, then that needs to be enforced using Mobile Device Management.

The RAM and storage requirements are indicative. Depending on the amount of data to be processed and the modules being used, the minimum requirements may increase. Final handset requirements are communicated to the customer after analysing the details.
